Too Many Choices on Netflix? Help is On the Way!

Netflix RouletteFor anyone who grew up with only two channels in their neighborhood — or even in the age of cable and Internet — Netflix can be a little overwhelming.

So many shows and movies! In every genre! All the cult shows you didn’t watch the first time around! “Breaking Bad,” “The Killing,” “House of Cards,” “Orange is the New Black” … Too.Many.Choices.Can’t.Breathe…

Well, now there’s an app for that — called Netflix Roulette. Or at least a website. I couldn’t find it on my iPhone yet, but it’s just a matter of time.

This new site takes the agonizing decision-making out of picking a movie or TV show to watch. Just pick a genre and click “spin.” If you want to go further, you can also choose a rating, director, actor or keyword.

You don’t need a Netflix account to hit “spin,” but you do need one to start watching whatever title comes up.

I like that Netflix Roulette gives you a few options, including a rating, so hopefully it’ll pick something good for you. You might even find some hidden gems you didn’t even know about.
