Here Are All the Netflix Movies Expiring Jan. 1, 2014

In the Name of the Father

I was lurking on a Facebook thread where folks were talking about the fact that Netflix changes out their inventory on a regular basis. I never knew that! So the movies and TV shows that are there today may be long gone tomorrow.

So I rounded up all the movies expiring on Jan. 1, 2014. Don’t panic yet – you’ve still got a few days to watch them before they go into the great beyond. Who knows, they might pop back into the Netflix dashboard at some point in the future, but you’d best do some binge-watching this weekend just to be on the safe side.

Below are all the movies expiring on Jan. 1. Don’t miss “Troll 2,” deemed by some to be the worst movie ever made. The bar was low. We happened across “Troll” on Christmas Day, and that was a very, very bad movie. What was June Lockhart thinking? And what?! There’s a “Species 2″?! Dear lord.

I’ve marked some of my favorites with an asterisk. The titles with two asterisks are films I haven’t seen, but will try to speed through by Jan. 1. Think I’ll skip both “Tales from the Crypt” and see if they’re on MST3K instead. I’m thinking Killer Klowns might already be there.

And now I really, really want to watch “The Andromeda Strain” again. One of those creepy movies from my childhood.
