Fusion Network, the new spawn of ABC and Univision, combines serious news and satire in its broadcasts. One of the satirical shows it airs is “Good Morning Today,” a morning talk show broadcasting from an alternate universe.

Things are a little askew in this universe compared to ours. The show combines motion capture animation with live guests.

In the above segment, the staff interviews Academy-Award winning writer Diablo Cody and her new gig as the screenwriter of “Star Wars: Episode VII.”

One of the more amusing aspects of this segment are the storyboard graphics for Diablo Cody’s version of Star Wars.
