Vanity Fair: Channing Tatum

I’ve always loved Channing Tatum, because even though he’s super handsome, he still seems like a real guy you could hang out with. Plus, he’s funny. Did you see the Jimmy Kimmel bit with him and Jamie Foxx? Funny.

He’s on the cover of Vanity Fair right now and talks about becoming a dad. He and Jenna Dewan-Tatum just had a baby girl on May 31 and named her Everly. He says of being a new dad, “I don’t think you can prepare. It’s a bit of a freestyle.”

He also had a few things to say about being a celebrity and his worries over kids like Justin Bieber.

“I worry about Bieber, man. That kid’s wildly talented. I hope he doesn’t fall down into the usual ways of young kids, because it’s so hard for someone to be responsible when they’re not asked to be. We’re not asked to do things ourselves. You have someone there with a coffee. ‘You want food? I’ll get you food.’ I put my bag in the trunk yesterday — I can’t drive here — so my driver, great guy, Terry, amazing, I call him T-Bone, I drop my bag in and left the trunk open. And I get around to my door, and I’m like, ‘What the f**k am I doing? That’s not my behavior.’”

That’s why I love Channing Tatum.

Catch him in Roland Emmerich’s “White House Down,” in theaters June 28, 2013. The movie also stars Jamie Foxx, Maggie Gyllenhaal, James Woods and Jason Clarke. Here’s the trailer.
