Mila Kunis and BBC1 Reporter Chris Stark
Check out this interview on YouTube with Mila Kunis and a very nervous BBC1 reporter, Chris Stark, that has gone viral. Kunis has been promoting the heck out of “Oz the Great and Powerful,” which had its New York premiere the other night.
Kunis shows she has a great sense of humor as she takes control of the interview while the sweet but starstuck Stark fumbles.
By the way, interviewing celebrities who have been asked the same question a million times — most of whom don’t have Mila’s sense of humor — can be a grind, especially if the celeb doesn’t play along. I have had a few brain freezes myself when faced with an iconic movie star. All of a sudden you can’t think of anything to say as you are staring at this face in front of you on the red carpet that you are used to seeing on a gigantic screen.
About five years ago on the red carpet at the National Board of Review gala, the reporter who stood next to me froze when she tried to interview Terrence Howard. He has gorgeous green eyes, hypnotic almost. The reporter standing next to me — not me, of course — just went quiet and I heard her stammer to him, “I can’t think of anything to say. Your eyes…”
Stark managed to ask Kunis out in this interview, but the gorgeous actress is clearly in the driver’s seat and she’s a hoot.
