Renee ZellwegerWhat’s Renee Zellweger been up to lately? The actress has been mostly absent from the big screen since Case 39 in 2009, but I’m happy to report that she has a new movie coming up in 2013 — Bridget Jones’s Baby. I so cannot wait for that!

The IMDB page for the Focus Features movie isn’t showing a release date other than 2013,  and the status says that “script issues are being worked out.” Hugh Grant and Colin Firth are also starring. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe she ended up with Colin Firth in the last Bridget Jones movie, right?

Zellweger also has a movie called 4 1/2 Minutes coming out in 2014 in which she stars, produces and directs. Good for her.  The comedy-drama, which also stars Johnny Knoxville, is about a comedian who takes a job looking after the son of a single mom.”

Until then, sounds like she’s happy and in love with boyfriend Doyle Bramhall III. They’ve known each other since her days as a University of Texas coed in 1990. Over the years, the Texas natives often ran into each other in L.A. and made a date in the summer of 2012 for a proper catch-up. The rest, as they say, is history.
