Matt Damon takes over Jimmy Kimmel

As we reported last week, Matt Damon finally at long last made an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” last night.

Well, he not only made an appearance, he took over the show, wheeling a bound and gagged Jimmy Kimmel onto the stage and taking over host duties as a parade of A-List celebrities wandered through.

He’s getting his revenge after ten long years of being bumped, night after night. Every night at the end of his broadcast, Kimmel signs off with an apology to Matt Damon for “running out of time.”

This tradition began in the first season of “JKL,” and has been repeated at the close of every show since then. Every.Single.Show.

“Jimmy Kimmel Sucks,” as Damon re-titled the show, was more like a long comedy sketch than a talk show, including “footage” of Jimmy reading for roles in “Good Will Hunting” and “The Adjustment Bureau.” Genius.

Celebrity guests included Amy Adams, Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon, Demi Moore, Sarah Silverman and Gary Oldman. There were also video testimonials from celebrities supporting Damon, including Oprah, Don Cheadle, John Krasinski, even  Kimmel’s parents.

Other celebrities stopping by included Robin Williams and Andy Garcia, the latter of whom replaced Jimmy’s sidekick Guillermo. Cleto was replaced by Sheryl Crow.

Matt was going to interview Jimmy at the end… but he ran out of time. Check out more videos:

Demi Moore doesn’t even look like herself anymore.
