Ryan GoslingGangster Squad opens Friday, and the movie about the LAPD’s fight to keep East Coast Mafia types out of Los Angeles in the 1940s and 50s features a ton of stars, including Josh Brolin, Sean Penn, Nick Nolte and Emma Stone.

But let’s focus for a second on Ryan Gosling, who plays Sgt. Jerry Wooters in the movie directed by Ruben Fleischer. You’ve gotta love a guy who loves his mom, and how fun that he took her to the premiere of this movie.

Also fun is that Donna Gosling gets to raid the closet of Ryan’s girlfriend, Eva Mendes, when she gets dolled up for red carpet events. Well done. She looks gorgeous.

And check out Ryan’s super-cool shoes!

Gangster Squad hits theaters Jan. 11, 2013 and is rated R for strong violence and language.

  1. I am a HUGE Ryan Gossling fan, ever since I saw him in Lars and The Real Girl. One of my all-time favorite movies. He is such a talented and capable actor (and real cute, too :)
