Roger Ebert (@ebertchicago) tweeted this earlier. It’s a story by Cracked.com about six locations used in countless movies. As a writer and Web girl, what’s just as fascinating to me is that the story probably took three days to write and collect all those clips. Those 2.5 million views are hard won!

No one does celebrity photos like People.com, and they’ve posted their Best Celeb Photos of 2012, featuring Jennifer Aniston, Ashton Kutcher, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and more. Hmmm … anyone know where Lady Gaga was THIS New Year’s Eve? I didn’t see her while putting together my New Year’s Eve photo post.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Baby News

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Baby News

Yep, it’s true. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are expecting a tiny bundle of joy. I’m not totally sure why some sites told us to stop what we’re doing and pay attention. I mean, baby news is always fun, but not like it’s the second coming or something! And please don’t tell me she’s having the baby to re-ignite Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Please.

Hugh Hefner and Crystal Harris have finally tied the knot, after she broke off the first engagement. He’s 86. She’s 26. Do the math. But hey, if they’re in love, more power to them, I say.

The Academy of Motion Picture Sciences has extended their voting … by one day. If it’s because the voters are older folks who aren’t familiar with voting online, maybe it’s time for some new blood.

Lindsay Lohan has hired a decorator to re-do her new home. Should I go there? Ok, I will. Maybe she’ll stay home more often and out of trouble!

Apparently amidst the ball dropping and Kim and Kanye’s baby news and Hugh and Crystal’s nuptials, the Senate passed a fiscal cliff deal. Gawker’s got the scoop and explains what it’s all about, Alfie.

Many good thoughts and healing karma to Hillary Clinton, who’s expected to make a full recovery after a blood clot in her brain sidelined her for the holidays. Also wishing peace to daughter Chelsea. Not easy when your parents are laid up.

The peeps are Hitfix posted about their most anticipated premieres and returns of 2013. The first screeners for FX’s The Americans arrived here a couple days ago. Looking forward to checking those out.
