Fox just released a trailer for its upcoming mid-season series The Following. The show stars Kevin Bacon as a has-been FBI agent and James Purefoy as a serial killer who fashions his killings after his favorite author, Edgar Allan Poe. The show premieres Jan. 21, 2013 at 9/8c.
Wow. I’m already a fan.
About the Author:
K. L. Connie Wang is huge fan of monthly serial romance novels and Craig Johnson's Walt Longmire series. Connie has been published in The Orlando Sentinel, Campus Circle and Latina Bride magazine, as well as on such web sites as TVFodder, FilmFodder, The Travel Channel and IgoUgo. Other interests include shopping (especially when it comes to finding the best bargain!), food (eating, cooking, watching food shows, and eating again), books, online gaming, and traveling when her income affords it.
I am a Kevin Bacon fan, and this show does look well-done, but I must say I wish TV writers would work on OTHER topics than murder by serial killers. It’s time for more sophistication. How about some shows with corporate villains and an environmental activist who is on their tracks, using as plot, for instance, revealing the lies that were spread in order to defeat Prop 37 in California? Am I dreaming? Can TV address issues that do not involve guns and violence to individuals, which is not as prevalent as we are led to believe, and deal with violence to the environment and our health?
Wow, after watching that trailer I think I’m already a fan as well! It looks like an epic show, so I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for that premiere date in January. I can’t wait to see how the season plays out, and it really is going to be great to see Kevin Bacon on my TV every week!

James Purefoy was amazing as Marc Antony in Rome. Would give this a try.

Already a fan here, too! Can’t wait for this show. Can’t wait to see Kevin Bacon on TV every week. The show looks fantastic.
I think James Purefoy is total eye candy, I don’t care if he plays a serial killer on this show.
