Susan Lucci, Deadly AffairsIt’s totally appropriate that Susan Lucci would host a show called Deadly Affairs, isn’t it? The veteran soap actress certainly had her share of those during her 41 years of playing Erica Kane on All My Children.

But Investigation Discovery’s Deadly Affairs is a real-life soap opera that tells true tales of love gone horribly wrong – from wandering eyes at the workplace leading to adulterous romps in the supply closet to Bible-study couples tempted by lust to commit the ultimate sin.

Episodes feature stories interlaced with expert commentary from local authorities and true-crime experts, as well as first-person accounts from friends and family of the victims.

Deadly Affairs has been green-lit for season two, premiering in summer 2013 on Investigation Discovery.
