New Girl Outtakes, Jamie Lee Curtis, Jake Johnson
Jamie Lee Curtis was on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno recently, and was kind enough to bless New Girl fans with some outtakes of her and Jake Johnson from the Thanksgiving “Parent Trap” episode. Curtis and Rob Reiner guest-star as Jess’s divorced parents.

Too bad she only knows Jake as “that guy.” After this episode airs, Jake will be like Cheers – everyone will know his name.

Hysterical! I haven’t kept up with New Girl, but this clip makes me want to watch from the beginning again. Just the idea of Jamie Lee Curtis and Rob Reiner as Jess’s parents is awesome.

It’s such a fun show.  I know a lot of people aren’t fans of Zooey for various reasons, but the real stars are Jake and Max Greenfield – he’s subtly hysterical!  It’s like he’s Tom Hanks in Big – perpetually a kid in an adult’s body.  They should have him do the dancing keyboard scene! ::Is anyone listening? hint, hint::: @curtisleejamie @markjakejohnson @newgirlonfox @ZooeyDeschanel @iamgreenfield
