Kristen Stewart and Rob Pattinson at the Breaking Dawn Part 2 Premiere

Remember how I loved the Zuhair Murad dress that Kristen Stewart wore at the Toronto International Film Festival this year? I called it amazing. I said, “You go, girl.”

Well, apparently she must have fired that stylist and hired a new one, because I can’t say the same for the Zuhair Murad dress she wore to last night’s L.A. premiere of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2.

Look, I generally avoid getting too negative about fashion or anything else on this site, but it’s like she didn’t realize that this was the undergarment and there was another dress that was supposed to go over the top of it.

And I get that maybe she’s going for a little edgier look, but if you’ve had a year that’s been rocked by scandal, wouldn’t it be better not to wear a see-through dress? I’m just asking. On the other hand, maybe she’s just saying, “You know what? I really don’t care what people are saying about me. This is who I am, take it or leave it.”

As for whether Stewart and Pattinson are a couple again, who knows? They’re making the rounds to promote the final installment of the Twilight franchise, but they’re not saying one way or the other.

Appearing separately on the Today show last week, both stars dodged questions from host Savannah Guthrie about their reconciliation following Stewart’s July fling with her Snow White and the Huntsman director, Rupert Sanders.

“I’m going to just let people watch whatever little movie they think our lives are,” the actress said. “Keep ‘em guessing, I always say.” And really, it’s none of our business, right?

Guess I should say something about Pattinson’s suit. I like that he does something different. The green is ok, and I’m cool with his just-rolled-out-of-bed look.

I like Pattison’s look. As for Stewart, I can’t even believe those two dresses were created by the same designer, let alone worn by the same girl. At the very least, if you’re going to wear a dress like this, make it a color other than nude, which just makes it look even more like foundations rather than an outer garment. Even in black or red, though, I would hate it, and I’m not at all prudish. It just isn’t attractive, not even on someone with a great body.

@melanievotaw I agree on all counts. It reminds me of some sort of foundation garment the women on Mad Men might wear. It’s like, “Hey, you forgot to put the dress on!”

Or as Tom+Lorenzo would say, girl that’s not your dress!
