Xfinity on Demand to Offer The CW Shows Starting Oct. 25

I’m not totally sure how this plays into my cable provider, Charter, but I’m seriously hoping that we’ll get The CW shows offered On Demand, too. And while we’re at it, Fox can jump into the fray, as well. Anyone listening out there?!

I mean, seriously, why WOULDN’T you offer your shows On Demand to get more viewers? Maybe there’s more involved in the TV world, ratings, advertisers, etc. that I’m not aware of, but it just seems like a no-brainer to me. Want more viewers? Offer the show in as many ways as possible.

Today, Comcast announced that they’re adding The CW programming to Xfinity On Demand. Starting tomorrow, Oct. 25, Xfinity TV customers can watch the four most-recent episodes from each CW series – including their favorite CW programs the day after they air on live TV – on Xfinity On Demand at no additional charge.

This is the first time The CW is making its programming available On Demand, allowing viewers to free up valuable DVR space and not have to worry about missing one moment of our favorite shows like The Vampire Diaries, Supernatural and my new favorite, Beauty and the Beast.

In fact, here are all the CW shows Xfinity customers will be able to watch On Demand in both HD and SD:

Yay! No more having to watch missed episodes on computers and iPads via The CW’s web site! No more having to watch Dean and Sam, Damien, and Chuck on tiny screens! Take a cue, Charter!
