The Skyfall Trailer Makes Jane Crazy for James Bond All Over Again

Look, I love Sean Connery and Roger Moore as much as the next girl. Timothy Dalton and Pierce Brosnan aren’t bad either. No comment on George Lazenby.

But Daniel Craig is quickly becoming my favorite James Bond. Sometimes 007 needs to be cold, calculating, ruthless, even violent to get the job done. Sure, I admit it. I love seeing Daniel Craig smash someone’s face into a wall when necessary.

Looks like he does plenty of that in Skyfall, crashing into theaters Nov. 9, 2012. The official synopsis goes something like this: Bond’s loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.

But in the trailer, it’s all about Daniel Craig shooting people, running down a street, falling through a building, landing in the water, threatening to kill someone, and so on and so forth. Ralph Fiennes, Judi Dench, Javier Bardem, Naomie Harris, Albert Finney and Ola Rapace (Noomi’s soon-to-be ex) also star.

Check out the trailer and tell me: who’s your favorite James Bond?

Yay! My favorites are Daniel Craig, Roger Moore and Sean Connery, though they all bring something different to the character. If I had to pick one today, I’m not sure I could choose between the three. It will be interesting to see if Daniel Craig starts to bring more of the suaveness to the character that we’re familiar with from the others.

Wow… way to deceive people into thinking this is the unreleased trailer: “Connect” a game trailer to the actual teaser, people see the 2:48 running time, and assume it’s the new one. I guess it’s one way to get traffic.
