Send to KindleWhat IS it about Shark Week we find so entertaining? Is it the fact that these massive creatures can annihilate anything in their path? That humans don’t stand a chance if they’re in the way of a hungry shark?
Or maybe it’s the simple fact that their razor-sharp teeth are beyond our comprehension. Ok, sharks. Let’s have it. Show us your teeth.
Shark Week starts Sunday, July 31 at 9 p.m. on Discovery Channel.

Ah, Shark Week. Every once in a while, it would be nice to have pay TV. Shark Week is one of those times!

Do you have sharks in your New Zealand waters, Melanie?

maybe it is because they seem mysterious — having lived along waters where there are plenty of sharks, though. I am not sure I find them so. fearsome at times though. and, side note, I have eaten shark….

Don’t they just recycle the same old footage year after year? I’ve never been a big fan of Shark Week, but I do, otherwise, enjoy sea creature TV.

Now that you mention it … they might as well recycle the same footage year after year, because it all looks the same to me!
It’s funny, because I swim in Lake Michigan nearly every day in the summer, and yes, I know it’s one of the Great Lakes, but I’ve seen ‘Jaws’ one too many times, so I’m always looking around to see a big creature swimming near me.
His teeth are very sharp and savage but not to be feared. There is a secret behind it. What God created will never be in vain.
