(Season 3, Episode 28) First of all, I sort of loved Sookie’s makeover goth look when she and Alcide went to the were-bar in tonight’s episode of ‘True Blood.’ Not that she should go with it all the time, but it’s kind of a nice change – like, for Halloween or something. I like the dark pageboy hairdo, and she’s not bad in black leather.
But here’s my question about that whole storyline in tonight’s episode. What was Russell Edgington (played by Denis O’Hare, right) doing at the were-bar? I thought vampires and werewolves were mortal enemies, but he was there turning himself into a vampire faucet, filling up shot glasses with his blood for the wolves to drink (which they did and promptly turned canine).
I know I’m missing a major plotpoint, but why was he there? I’m guessing it had something to do with Debbie Pelt, since she was sort of on display while he was instigating the gruesome celebration.
